Installed together with an Apexi filter on my ‘16 FRS with ~24k miles 6MT. Results were honestly better than I had expected. I was just trying to eliminate the “noise generator” since I wasn’t a fan of the “faked” engine noise. Inside the cabin is a bit quieter now, but did seem to pick up some added induction noise from the engine (in a good way!). I did not expect the tube/filter to do anything performance wise. However, it does seem like the car picked up some throttle response and midrange power. Hard to say if it’s actually quicker at high RPM, but the car is more enjoyable to drive. Have had the items installed for about 5 weeks now, vehicle is 100% stock everywhere else. My only gripe, just for an honest review, is the supplied clamps were actually too small and could not be used. I just reused the stock clamp on the throttle body, then grabbed another 3” clamp out of my tool box for the air box side. No big deal just can’t give it a 5 Star for ease of install for that reason. Would certainly purchase again - wish I did it sooner!

I held off on ordering for awhile since this is basically a cosmetic mod, but I'm glad I finally purchased it as it really cleans up the engine bay, removes the pesky sound tube, and they even include all the hardware and a small plug to cover the sound tube connection. You can't really go wrong with a Perrin part either, these guys know what they're doing.
