Install was really hard, took close to 5 hours. If I had to do it again I would just take off the intake manifold, would save you time and be able to do a better job getting all the fittings on.
Great quality inlet. Installed on my 2006 Legacy GT with JDM 2.0 engine.along with the Perrin after mass tube . This install is not for the faint of heart. Pay someone to do it and save yourself the frustration. Nice mid range performance gain!
I received the Turbo inlet and it's pretty nice. Looks like the coupler to the MAF hose is plastic, not metal as the pictures show. Checked the Perrin site, looks like they went to plastic couplers at some point, just disappointing to see that Rallysportdirect shows metal, when it's not.
Everywhere online i see horror stories of people not being able to put these in or taking days to do. I put mine in with my cold air intake in a couple hours without much hassle. I didn't even remove the intercooler. Intake is extremely loud with this and the cold air but i know it flows a ton better than stock. Buy it
Ok. The install is quite a pain. not terrible but locations of clamps and hoses make the install tricky. It took me and my buddy just about 2 hours to install and we did have to go to the parts store to pick up some hose clamps. You will get a much louder spool up sound with this upgrade. Sounds pretty cool i think. I also have an AEM CAI and GFB BOV. If i would do it all over again i would definitly get a Hard version of this pipe. I took off 1 star because of the color. I dont know if its because of the material its made of but it does not match any of the other Perrin products. Its sort of a really faded dark pink. I feel that the red should match all of their other products.

Q: Tune for this part? Guac10 years ago
I'm going to assume that a tune will be needed for this since there will be more allowable air flow?
