It is common over time and mileage for your factory inlet hose to develop cracks around the worm clamp connections or around the various hose connections which will cause boost leaks and will certainly hinder your performance.

This was perfect for my JDM STI easy install just wipe some silicone lubrications and its done
Really noticed a difference after the install
Fits like a charm, as a consequence be prepared to fight it. If you have the means to remove your intake manifold it might be worth it.
Sounds so good when going into boost! Install was a little tough. wd40 and some angled picks are your friends with this install.
My oem turbo inlet ripped so I bought another oem to replace it... ordered this the next day because there’s no way to get the oem inlet back in. Got it in without removing the intake runner, just took some pushing, pulling, twisting, and prying

Will this fit on a grimmspeed cold air intake? As well as the stock TD04 turbo?

A: We haven't tested it with the Grimmspeed intake, but it will definitely work with the stock turbo.

A: It does fit without no issues, Actually easier to install on the JDM versions in my opinion. You more than likely will not need the extended hose that is sent to fit the JDM version. Quite easy install with some patience.
