This is an excellent upgrade for those of you who need to replace your factory inlet hose. It is common over time and mileage for your factory inlet hose to develop cracks around the worm clamp connections or around the various hose connections which will cause boost leaks and will certainly hinder your performance.

Installed on a 2008 STI. I was dreading this install after remembering the inlet install on my 04 WRX. My dread was founded as this was MUCH more difficult. Another reviewer reported breaking their fuel vapor purge solenoid while reinstalling one of the pcv breathers (which is EXACTLY what happened to me). Take my advice, and install every barb fitting with straight dish soap, and be very patient with the install. This inlet may have been difficult to install, but it is extremely free-flowing. Paired with the Grimmspeed Cai I can hear my stock bypass valve venting back into the inlet as if it were venting to the atmosphere. Side note: The coupler that connects the inlet to your intake or post maf housing is made of plastic and NOT the metal piece as advertised. Not sure if it was the version I got, or what. It doesn't appear to be any weaker than the metal counterpart, but I was a little surprised on unboxing. Thanks for the quality service, and quick shipping RSD!

Install wasn’t fun with the intake manifold on, but I was able to get it done by myself with a little bit of patience and elbow grease. Highly recommend getting long pliers for the recirc hose clamp, getting that back on was the hardest part. Throttle response increased. Smoother spool up.

Is this the 2.4inch perrin turbo Inlet? Also does this include the fitting for the pcv assembly and connector?

A: Yes this is the 2.4" inlet. This includes all the fittings needed to attach all the factory hoses that normally attach to the factory turbo inlet.

A: Yes this will fit on your 2007 WRX with no kinks. Now this is larger then OEM so its made to be tight and press up against certain parts.
