Now obviously I advise anyone to get a tune regardless of intake brand. But I previously had an AEM branded intake with a K&N filter on it. Seemed to do a decent job. Got the Perrin intake with their foam filter and immediately noticed a huge difference in how the AF learnings and ratios changed. Steady in all rev ranges and boost ranges. Amazing product yet again from Perrin.

quality product. didn't end up using the mounting bracket on my forester because it doesn't attach very well to the filter, nice looking product and does its job well

No issues on my 2006 wrx wagon, 93oct with cobb stage 2 hwg map. WARNING!! After installing this intake you may find yourself in awe of the beautiful acoustics resonating around you.

What cleaner does this require? The Perrin website shows a foam cleaner but no link to purchase it. Who does Rallysport or Perrin recommend for a cleaner?

A: Perrin states that tuning is not required for their intake. But, we will always recommend tuning for any intake as it can cause the engine to run lean and can risk potential engine damage, if not tuned for.
