very well made AOS fairly easy to install, ditched the plastic fittings and went with AN fittings and hoses but left the coolant and oil return lines alone
This is a very good AOS as far as quality goes. It is a very difficult install. I would not do this install again. You need to understand the cars PCV system very well and also the concept behind the AOS. I am worried about the lines being so close to alot of heat in the engine bay so Ill need to make some changes there. The bracket is not proper for the 2015 STI. Its too low and I doubt it would let the oil drain properly. You can flip the bracket but need to drill out the hole for an M8 bolt on the strut tower. Fitting the TMIC in with this setup is also very difficult after all the lines have been placed. Its a tight fit.
Only trouble I had was the mounting bracket did not line up on strut tower. I had to drill out the bottom hole to get it to line up. Other than that it works great, just wish the instructions would come year specific. It would make them a lot easier to understand if you didn't have to read about every other model and year of the wrx and sti.
The PERRIN AOS for my STI FITS perfectly. However the installation is not to be taken for granted. Takes 3 hours to install and we did some modifications to the hosing lines. Everything you need is in the manual and make sure you understand it and know exactly what you are doing before you install this Part. It helps to have a professional help or work on it for you. But like I said it's worth the money and it gives you pease of mind to know that oil is not going in to your intake.
This is the best AOS out there - have a few customers running them and it performs for 100% if you looking for one , thats the best way to go. As for install - read instructions carefully !!

A: The instructions do not say to delete the PCV valve. You can choose to not use the PCV during install of the kit, but we wouldn’t recommend that.

A: The only difference between the two would be the mounting bracket, aside from that everything will be the same.
