This is the PERRIN Performance Radiator Shroud. This shroud has been designed to improve the overall cooling efficiency by channeling the incoming airflow to make direct contact with the face of the radiator. Typically under driving conditions, the air would hit the face of the radiator and then get deflected in all other directions. The shroud prevents the air from getting deflected into the engine bay forcing more air to stay in contact with the radiator.
Additionally, other benefits include improved engine bay aesthetics, along with a place to put your tools while performing maintenance.

My engine bay originally had a lot of red felt it was to much so I’m slowly making everything black going for a cleaner look
Simple, Clean, & Easy to install and also the price isn't bad if your on the fence about it I say JUST DO IT!! I have a 07 STi and a bigger radiator so yes I had to cut off about 2 inches off so nothing to crazy looks good also.
Solid product. Love that it covers gaps that really don't need to be seen. Quick easy install to clean up the engine bay look.
I'm not sure how much it actually affects performance of the cooling, but it sure makes the engine and radiator look a whole heck of a lot better, and I'm sure it will help at least 2% on a track day over not having any air shroud. Overall, required some filing to fit on my 02 bugeye with a mishimoto radiator, but it did fit, and does look great! Perrin does it again!
Bought this for my 2004 wrx only to find out upon getting it that it will only fit stock radiator. Had to cut and trim a little to get it to fit my aluminum one. It’s made pretty cheaply but does what you pay for it to do

A: Sadly, I can't confirm it to work a 100%, but it should be able to fit.

A: I'm sorry this will not fit with after-market radiators that are thicker then OEM.

A: Can confirm that it DOES work, but it requires some filing in order to sit correctly with the radiator mounts. I have a 2002 so mine doesn't have a radiator surge tank port so I cannot confirm fitment if you have a return line in use by your radiator cap. Mine is welded shut.
