Unfortunately, I cannot report that I notice any difference in the brake pedal feel, so I'm not 100% sure that the mount was a necessary upgrade. Installation was extremely tight, you better have small hands. I do, and it was still difficult to reach certain places.

First off, wow, just wow, awesome quality by perrin, and what a difference it makes. Key things to note is that this is a little bit of a pain to install, but the instructions are thoroughly detailed, just took my time and in a solid 2 hours I was taking it out for a spin... Braking performance again is greatly improved with this, much more confident feeling brakes, granted I have stop tech ss lines, hawk pads and dba rotors. Either way this was a huge improvement even over that.. This is a must for anyone looking for a better brake feel

First of all the product quality and instructions are great. I'm not an expert mechanic so it took me 3-4 hours to install, but I like to tinker with my car. I've yet to push it to the limit, so I don't know the extent of the performance upgrade. However, it has made little difference on my daily driving. Lessons learned: 1) make sure to mark which EVAC line is which, that will save you unnecessary head/back ache, 2) have a good set of mechanic's tools laying around with a socket extension, and adjustable/pivoting head, 3) when it says to lift up the car with a jack, do it, 4) you will have to bend/manipulate the fuse box just a little bit to get everything to bolt correctly, but it's not major.

According to RSD, this only fits turbo models, but according to Perrin's site, it will fit n/a models (08+). I just wanted to clarify before I order. See: http://perrinperformance.com/i-13324344-master-cylinder-brace-for-2008-wrx.html. Thank you.
