This particular gauge reads up to 2000°F and allows users to see how things like modifications or certain driving conditions can affect their EGT temperatures. PERRIN Gauges also comes with a 12-step brightness adjustment to allow users to adjust the settings to be compatible with all lighting conditions.

in order to install probe, is it a drill and twist or do you need to buy a bung and weld it in?

A: A threaded bung is included, and if you are able to drill and tap the pipe for the bung, then you can thread it in rather than welding it.

A: The pictures of this product are pictures taken in house. The temperature probe should not hang out of the intake manifold. The threads of the temperature probe are adjustable so that the probe can be adjusted to the correct height of the manifold.
