The A-pillar mount is a great option when using sun shields. The provided scosche magic mount (tablet version) seems a bit overkill for just the cobb AP but you can be assured there's no bump in the road that will make the AP fall off. It is VERY secure. The standard (phone) version of the magic mount would've be enough.
