MODEL # KIL PPBC

$695.00

  • Q: Killer B oil pan  Khal3 days ago

I understand the pan have 2 ports. If i use the OEM drain plug for one port, can the other fit a Defi oil temp sensor directly? Or is there an adapter required?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  While you should be able to find a way to make the defi oil temp work, we cannot guarantee it being a direct fitment.

  • Q: 2015 STI  PWRIII2 months ago

is there way to plug both Oil Temp and Oil Pressure into the oil pan? I also still want to have a way to drain oil without having to unplug sensors. right now i am using a sand-which plate but do not like how close that makes the filter headers.
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Your best option is the oil sandwich plate unless you want to modify pan.

A:  Pressure needs to be measured after the pump. We always recommend the port under the alternator as it is JUST before feeding any bearings. For the temp, in the pan is where you want to be as it measures the oil temps going INTO the engine. Anywhere else will have other influences involved.

  • Q: 2012 TBW SKID PLATE  DJ9162 months ago

Will this have any issues with the TBW aluminium skid plate? Love the product by the way! Welds are a beaut.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We've not tested fitment with every belly pan out there(including TBW), but have verified some fit without issues. Some have reported using washers under the belly pan to provide necessary clearance, but I don't know of anyone who has had an issue so big that it couldn't be made to work.

  • Q: 2003 WRX Fitment  pferrante43 months ago

This package looks great! Will I need to run a bigger oil pump on my '03 WRX for this? Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would be able to run this with your OEM oil pump, as well as OEM fitment upgrades. You will need a dipstick and tube from an EJ25 for accurate oil level readings though.

I have a 2014 WRX Hatchback with a Primitive Racing skid plate. Is this oil pan going to interfere with that?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Sadly, we are unable to confirm both parts working together. However, you should have no issues.

  • Q: Fitment  tannerdc5 months ago

Will this work with Tomei unequal length headers? Also what is the thread size of the non 1/2 NPT plug?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we would not be able to confirm fitment with those headers, however they should work just fine. This is what I found on thread pitches. Nominal Pipe Size (inch) 1/2" Number of threads per inch 14 Pitch Diameter at Beginning of External Thread Start (inch) 0.75843

  • Q: EJ205 fitment  Nelson Asay10 months ago

Hi! I asked this question a while back ago. Haven't heard anything. But it's ok, I just wanted to know, What is need or what has to be done to make this a full bolt on for a EJ205 on a 2003 wrx? Thanks RSD!
  • Q: Ej207 compatibility   Joe10 months ago

The description says 2.0 motors will need a 2.5 oilpan to work with pickup tube. I have an 02 wrx with a v8 ej207 jdm motor. Will this kit fit my car and will I need to change the dipstick or dipstick tube? Thanks Joe
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will fit your car and you will need to change to the 2.5L dipstick.

A:  I ended up contacting Killer B with a pic of my OE pan and the dipstick and tube do not need to be replaced. Some 207’s (JDM) do require a swap but my version 8 does not. I’m not positive but I think version 8 and after dipsticks and tubes do not need to be replaced. Here is a pic of my pan for 207 owners looking to buy this kit. I think but am not positive that a square shaped pan will require a new tube and dipstick.

  • Q: Dipstick and other mods  Nelson Asay10 months ago

  • Q: quick drain valve suggestions?  2014 WRX12 months ago

I'm going to have NWRS install this for me on my 2014 wrx for the increased capacity of oil, the replacement oil pickup for peace of mind over the stock pickup, and the baffle I'm sure completes the deal. My question is what type of quick drain valve would you suggest because RSD doesn't have any in 1/2NPT (they seem to all be in M20 and other sizes). If I use the Fumoto M20-1.5 Valve on the M20 hole then I can't find a magnetic drain plug for the 1/2NPT hole.

  • Q: 02 Wrx wagon fitment   Anthony 1 year ago

Will this fit an 02 Wrx wagon without any mods other than an sti dipstick?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Other than the dipstick and tube being replaced, this pan package will be a direct fit with the exception of the drain plugs. If you are not using the extra drain for another use, you will need an additional 1/2 inch NTP plug.

  • Q: Killer bee oil pan.   achambers8852 years ago

I recently purchased and install the killer bee oil pan package with pick up tube on my 2005 obxt. My dip stick seems to read over full now with only 5 quarts in it. What is the amount of oil I should be putting in this pan? Is it possible I need a new dip stick? Thanks.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The pan was designed around STi model parts. For the dipstick to read correctly you will need to use a 2005+ STi dipstick. Or you can fill with 6 quarts, and mark a new 'FULL' line on your old dipstick as a work-around.

  • Q: 2010-earlier MY oil pick up clogging  John 3 years ago

Would this pickup solve the oil clogging problem on the earlier ej257 engines so I can increase my oil change intervals back to 7500 miles?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I am not sure if it would solve your oil clogging issue because I am not sure where you are having oil getting clogged at. This is just going to be a more reliable oiling system with a better oil pickup tube compared to the OEM tube. I wouldn't recommend having oil change intervals longer 3000 miles.

does anybody know if I would have any fitment issue using this oil pan and the mishimoto thermostatic oilcooler?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  When installing an aftermarket cooler the OEM cooler should be removed. Doing this provides plenty of room for fitment.
