i have a ton of work to do on my 05 blobeye, which included replacing the front crossmember and suspension completely, which made installation of a new pan much easier than ive seen others do it. if you dont have the crossmember out of the way, you can see 4 bolts on the back (rear end side) of the pan (pictured below) that you wont be able to reach unless you do some kind of black magic to reach them. the package doesnt include a 1/2 NPT plug or an oil plug, so you need to source those yourself. i went with a cusco magnetic plug and got an npt plug from Lowes.

Very nice product. Since the engine was out of the car it was extremely easy to install. If you have an aftermarket exhaust it may be a little hard to install but very manageable

The install was very easy due to the craftsmanship of the product just make sure you loosely install all pan bolts before tightening all the way.

2006 STi oil pan started leaking on the backside and had some light rust, and that Christmas money was burning a hole in my pocket so i decided to purchase ole' faithful here, and I was not disappointed. All in all it took me about 2 days to install between War Zone games, I do die a lot tho so.. On a serious note, I do think this a great investment for anyone who is looking to get that extra insurance from a mechanical standpoint, as this does increase oil capacity to 6 quarts, and the oil pick up and windage tray are just overall better. I'd put it in the same category as the cylinder 4 cooling mod, and AOS systems. Yes, you will have to raise the engine, and yes you need a ton of patience for the back 4 bolts, but its totally worth it. The sticker adds like 40 WHP too.

A: This kit is designed for more clearance with aftermarket headers, so you should have no issue with IAG Equal Length Headers

A: My only concern would be the header you are using, the rest should physically bolt up without a problem, but I would worry about the routing of the N/A headers interfering with the pan. I would assume it would work, but I would hate to tell you yes and then have it cost more money trying to get it to work. Honestly your best bet would be to just do an OEM pan and new pickup and trying to get a baffle plate (like this killer B unit) to work, as that will help keep oil down in the pan during high G maneuvers. Hope this helps!
