Q: sti dipstick AND tube? hella flush is hella stupid4 years ago
I understand you need a sti dipstick for turbo ej20 motors but do you need the tube too? I thought they were the same? Also, it can be any year sti right? Thanks
-
-
2 of 2 people found the following answer helpful
A: The OEM part numbers for 02-07 WRX and STI tubes are the same, so you don't need to change the tube. The dipstick can be from a 04-14 STI or 06-14 WRX.

Q: compadability hambright1599414 years ago
Will this fit on an 09 wrx with the Invidia big tube equal length headers and uppipe?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: We cannot guarantee compatibility of the Invidia big tube headers with this oil pan, and there have been fitment issues with those two parts together in the past.
Zach G. @ RallySport Direct 4 years ago -
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: With the BIG TUBE Invidia headers, there seems to be variations, sometimes they clear and sometimes they do not. You can always ship your headers here and we can test fit them so you know for certain before you make a buying decision.

Q: Oem Twinscroll Header Sven Hollenstein4 years ago
Will this fit with the Original Subaru Twinscroll Header?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: Depending on what year/model Twinscroll, you may need to trim some of the heat shielding. From what I'm told it's an easy trim and we've got several guys running the pan on OEM TS setups :)

Q: Fitment Regan M5 years ago
Has anyone tried to run these with the full race twin scroll efr headers?
-
-
1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful
A: We don't track every customer, so not that I'm aware of. Some F-R manifolds have made contact with our pan and some have not. If there is a problem the pan can always be returned, OR, we have had customers send us F-R manifolds for custom fitment.

What are the (2) 1/2 NPT holes for? A oil cooler ?
-
-
1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful
A: That is so you can run a drain plug along with a location to put a plug for a aftermarket temp sensor for instance.
Kirill C. @ RallySport Direct 5 years ago -
1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful
A: There are (2) ports; one is threaded with OEM plug threads and the other is 1/2NPT. The 1/2 NPT is often used for an oil temp.

Will I need to lift engine on my 2013 sti in order to install this pan?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: You will want to lift the engine up slightly to be able to better access the oil pan bolts that sit right above the cross member and not risk stripping /damaging them.

Q: Install bsenska069906 years ago
On my 2004 STI, would I have to lift the engine to install this pan? The OEM pan comes out without having to lift the engine. Thanks!
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: Depending on year/model you may need to remove the 2 motor mount bolts and raise the engine. Raising the engine is prefered as it gives better access to the rear bolts and makes the mounting of the pan onto the block easier (less likely to make a mess with the liquid adheasive gasket).

Q: Clearance with beatrush plate nate7 years ago
I was wondering if this pan would work with my beatrush skid plate, the plate is able to accommodate tomei uel headers. (I know you said it clears all headers, would these be an issue?) Thanks for answering all my questions!
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: I believe this will still clear under the skid plate however we can not confirm nor guarantee that it will.
guest56cba5b42a8d2531128efb62 @ -
1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful
A: It shouldn't be. The pan clears OEM skid pan and Carbing skid plates. As long as there is 1/2 clearance between the OEM pan and your Beatrush, there should be no problem :)
