Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct is proud to carry the Dimple Magnetic Transmission Drain Plug. It is always a great idea to equip your vehicle with a magnetic drain plug whether it be for your oil or your drivetrain because they do a great job of trapping the metallic contaminants and tiny metallic particles floating in your oil. Your oil filter can only trap metallic particles that are larger than 35 microns but anything smaller than that will slip through the cracks.

I was actually looking for some magnetic drain plugs when I did my first trans/diff change at like 18k miles on my 2011. I found Dimple after a difficult search and contacted the owner there. He didn't know the thread pitch for the 2008+ STI but ordered the bolts from the local dealer. Once he had what would fit I ordered them. I told that he should contact you guys and it looks like it worked out. Its a great product and I can't wait to put it in my next trans/diff change.

Q: How Many Plugs for Mazdaspeed 3 Brian Ong5 years agoHello, Can I check how many plugs for needed for Mazdaspeed 3. Will they fix Mazdaspeed 6 since the engine is the same?

A: Hello Brian, This M18x1.5 plug will fit both the fill and drain holes in your MazdaSpeed3 transmission. The M14x1.5 plug is the size you will need for your engine oil pan. I hope that the MazdaSpeed6 uses the same drain plug sizes but we unfortunately have not had the opportunity to confirm this yet. Thank you, TannerTanner S. @ RallySport Direct 5 years ago
