Bled the brakes on my STi and while the brakes felt fine, there was a noticeable improvement in pedal feel after this was done. I don't track the car, so I can't state on how it does under higher, sustained braking, but for street and some spirited driving it is a great replacement to the OEM fluid.

Haven't driven the car yet. Im sure it wont disappoint. For those wondering how much to buy. Get two. You will have some left over but one wont do it.

Good idea to flush the system periodically. This fluid is miles better than the OEM fluid! I actually got quite a lot of air removed from the system when I bled the brakes. Can't go wrong with Motul fluids. My engine oil, trans fluid, and now also brake fluid is all Motul and they did not disappoint!

Switching to this stuff immediately improved my brake pedal feel. It increased the firmness and progressive nature of the pedal.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: clutch fluid  bmxhotsauce419408 years ago

should this be used to flush out your clutch line as well? reason is since both fluid are brake fluid. I would like to confirm that you can. thank you
      • 1 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is a excellent fluid for clutch and brake systems. For a Subaru, 1 bottle will be enough to service the clutch system.

    • Q: Bleeding brakes  runjmc869 years ago

I have a 2013 WRX as a dd. I plan on getting ss brake lines and changing fluid. How often would I have to do a brake system flush? (No plans for track and occasional spirited driving)
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  In mild braking conditions you will want to change this brake fluid about once a year.

    • Q: Motul  EarvinL08299 years ago

What is the factory boiling point of the fluid compared to this?? After a little bit of beating on the car my clutch seem's as if its bubbling, seeing if this would be a fix.
      • 1 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is difficult to confirm what your vehicle was filled with from the factory, but this Motul fluid has a dry boiling point of 593ºF and a wet boiling point of 420ºF.

Can I just top off my fluid with this or do I need to drain the system to replace with this?
    • Q: Does this work well as clutch fluid also?  travelguy2k9 years ago

2008 sti... going to be replacing the clutch soon stage 1 hd with streetlight flywheel. Would this be a good fluid to use? If yes, how many bottles are needed for the clutch by itself?
