Seem underneath cracked so leaking coolant lasted roughly a year, other than that worked fine

We put this top tank in our WRX swapped 2000 Subaru Impreza RS. Top tank works great but the caps kept constantly leaking. Eventually just swapped the Mishimoto caps with OEM Subaru Caps. Mishimoto needs to do some better R&D on these things.

I bought this tank in 2018 but my engine build wasn't completed until spring of 2019. Only 6 months after getting this motor running I discover a leak in my coolant system.. turns out to be a bottom seam weld has failed on this Mishimoto expansion tank. Just noticed that someone else had the exact same issue only a couple of months ago. Really frustrating.

Nicely welded and finishing. Only flaw is the supplied radiator cap. It seems to be quite flimsy and cheaply made. Better off with OEM caps.

Had this expansion tank installed for roughly 4 months and the welds near the brackets cracked and spilled coolant all over my engine
