Here, you are looking at the Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Cooler Kit. This is a great way to reduce your oil temperatures for improved performance along with extended engine life. For example, if you like to participate in the occasional weekend track event in your daily driver, or if you have a track-dedicated race car, your engine will stay in the upper- RPM range for the majority of the session which means that your oil temps will climb. The risk is that oil can get so hot it loses its viscosity and lubrication properties which can lead to engine damage or engine failure. The Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit performs an excellent job of providing supplementary oil cooling to keep those oil temperatures at bay.

The oilcooler is really nice. From the AN fittings to braided oil lines, and the thermostat top notch. Both the brackets for the oilcooler lined up, and hold it snug. One little thing tho I didn't like how the AN fittings on the thermostat side tie in.

A: When you perform a standard oil change it will drain most of the fluid from the system. If not, they new oil will cycle through it. It is not confirmed whether or not this will void your manufacture warranty on the car as I assume that is what you were meaning. I would either consult your dealership or not to purchase this.
