Here, you are looking at the Mishimoto Catted Downpipe. This is a nice upgrade that replaces your factory pipe that is heavy and restrictive, and the Mishimoto unit has been designed with smoother bends and larger piping diameter. The result is more horsepower and more torque, along with improved engine response.

  • Dyno-proven gains of up to 57 WHP and 52 WTQ with the catted downpipe and a tune, using 93 octane fuel on a 6-speed (for example other fuel and elevation factors will differ)
  • Dyno-proven gains of up to 73 WHP and 64 WTQ with the catted downpipe, a tune, and the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake 93 octane fuel on a 6-speed (for example other fuel and elevation factors will differ)

      Where exactly is the cat in this pipe? It appears to be near the end of the intermediate pipe, just before a catback would be installed. Also, would this mate to an Invidia Q300 3inch inlet catback?

        A:  The cat is located at the rear of the pipe. This will bolt right up the Invidia's Q300 Catback Exhaust.

        A:  Since the stock downpipe features a catalytic converter very close to the turbocharger, we moved the cat further down the pipe for clearance reasons. The cat is still functional from an emissions standpoint with this design, but is not involved in any ECU calculations. Also, as long as the Invidia pipe has the factory-style 2-bolt flange it should mate to our downpipe perfectly
