Awesome intake looks great in red, a pretty tight fit for me but it will fit well. Definitely will give you the classic BWAAA PSHH but even though it says no tune required I would recommend one as well as supporting parts because I am getting some turbo flutter which sounds amazing but IS hard on your turbo.

Q: California smog exempt. flat tire1 year ago
I live in California and have a 2013 sti. The DMV is asking for me to smog my car this year. I am a little concerned if my car will pass smog. It does say the mishimoto intake is carb exempt, however i don't want to jump over hurtles just to get my tags.

Q: Tune jman787 years ago
I have seen so many answers to this question, but I have the SPT catback exhaust on a 2014 STI sedan. If I add this intake will I need to be tuned. No other mods have been done to this car.

Q: Safe for Cobb AP Stage 1? joejoe697 years ago
Will this CAI be safe with a stage 1 flash from a Cobb AP V3 SUB-004 (2015 STI)? I know Mishimoto claims no tuning required but is the AP enough to give it more headroom for safety? I'll be running the 91 octane map with 92 octane fuel. Thanks!!

A: It appears that the only intake that Cobb supports is the stock intake at this time. Therefore, I cannot recommend running this intake on the stock intake map settings. Thank you.
