I was hesitant to buy this CAI due to the fact that it was questionable if this needed a tune. I decided to give it a shot and trust me it doesn't need a tune. The guys at mishimoto knows their stuff and stuck by their product. I've driven my car for about 500 hard driving miles now and no yellow icons glaring at my face lol. I noticed a lot of difference once you get around 4K rpm and the transition to second gear drops you at a higher rpm with no lost of boost with a huge pick up of speed and acceleration. The sound of whooshhhhh brings SMILES to my face and I love my car now more than ever. In addition I do a lot of city driving and I notice my average miles per gallon increase by 2gallons. With all honesty I don't regret buying this product. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy modification without breaking the wallet thinking that you needed a AP to tune this CAI. I'm very happy I got this product while it was on sale($160) Thanks RallySport you guys are the best.

A: While Mishimoto states that tuning is not required, we highly recommend getting a tune to prevent having your car run too lean.
