Features & Product Details

Remember that one time when you got your first turbocharged car? Turn the boost up they said, get a bigger turbo they said, it’s okay to run on pump gas they said. Well your rods will eventually disagree and stretch. The Manley H-Beam Rods have been forged from 4340, and have been heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and 100% individually mangafluxed to provide you the strength needed on your next high performance build.

These rods can handle up to 600 horsepower when combined with the right kind of hardware. If you’re rebuilding an engine, make sure that the Manley Connecting Rods is a part of the blue print.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • Q: Manley Rods  Djordan861 year ago

What is the difference between the H Beam Steel and Manley Performance Forged Connecting Rods
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These rods (#14024) are their "entry level" rods and are lighter, but are not rated to hold as much power. The dimensions will be the same as the H-Tuff (#15024), or H-Tuff Plus (#15024R6) rods, but these are ~525 grams vs ~575 grams. These will hold about 600 horsepower, the H-Tuff Plus about 750 hp.

  • Q: Rod Fitment  tjbnl 2 years ago

What makes these out of spec for an 07 WRX? But still work for an 07 STI
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Manley lists these fitting the EJ205 and EJ257, however the EJ255 and EJ257 use the same connecting rod, so this should work.
