KICS Racing Lug Nuts R26 Composite 12x1.25 Neo Chrome ( Part Number: 32875N)

It is never easy spending $200 for a set of lug nuts, so let me tell you why I'm a nutcase. I opted to go with the Neo-Chrome R26 lug nuts because I have ARP extended studs, and I have not so cheap Volk racing wheels. I previously had the muteki lug nuts. And although they are economical in price and do their job, I was displeased on how the paint came off so quickly. At first glance the KICS are packaged properly. My set came with 16 17MM lug nuts, and 4 special lug nuts to hopefully give the thieves a hard time. They are packaged in double foam, and the box is neatly packaged. You don't have that super hard plastic that you risk cutting your arm off while un-packaging. The lugs are 26 grams hence R26, and they are nimble, and the neo-chrome finish is pleasing to the eye. The best feature is the swivel bevel on the edge of each lug nut. This is a fascinating feature with lug nuts as they will not harm or scratch the finish of your wheels. I also noticed that my torque wrench went over a few more revolutions before reaching my preferred torque specs. So they are on there really snug. With the extended studs, the shallowness of the lugs disappear into the wheel so you really cant actually see the lug nuts from 10 feet away. But again they are light, and are open ended for this purpose. The only feature I would be careful about is the lock nuts and their wrench adapters. I buzzed my wheels on with an impact gun. So with the 17MM wrench adapter to the 17MM lugs nuts they will install straight forward with ease. Now with the locking nuts and adapters, you really should walk the lug in by hand with a wrench. You risk damaging the adapter by over-spinning with the impact gun. Over all worth every penny. If I had to do it over again I would get them without the locking nuts. But I live in Compton CA, and I don't want Big Worm rolling around in TE-37's.
