  • Q: Bigger wheels  Fernando C.3 years ago

So if I were to buy 18x10.5 wheels and buy these as well, would the bigger wheels cause severe rubbing?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Larger wheels will increase the risk of rubbing. We highly recommend taking measurements of your current setup and adding the new wheel/tire size and lowering spring distance do determine any clearance issues that may arise.

  • Q: increase or decrease handling   Hunter9514 years ago

Hi. Iv seen mixed views on these springs. Do they give better handling over stock or are do they give worse handling and better looks?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  A lower center of gravity with a stiffer spring rate will help handling to a point, but matching springs to a proper strut will help achieve much better performance.

  • Q: 2002 STI Fitment  Pat B4 years ago

Hi, would these fit on a 2002 STI with STI struts? Looking for lowering springs to lower the front 1.5 - 2 inches in the front 1 inch in the back
  • Q: spring compatibility  smyline7114 years ago

Will these work with a 2000 jdm sti strut assembly?
  • Q: 04 forester xt  LFCwrx4 years ago

Would these work with the 04 fxt?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  With FXT struts, these will not work however, you could transfer hubs and struts from a WRX/STi to make these work for you.

  • Q: camber issues  Cody Banks5 years ago

Will I run into camber issues with these springs on my 04 wrx?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  When you lower the car you will be adding some negative camber. You can usually bring the alignment back to stock with a set of camber bolts for the rear suspension, but some extra negative camber will improve the handling.

Will these lowering springs fit a 2005 STi?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are only confirmed for the '04 STI, the Tein S-techs designed for the 05-07 STI are part number #TEI SKS66-AUB00 and can be found on our site as well.

  • Q: Tein springs  Aero3834887306 years ago

I just bought these springs for my 07 wrx. As I had the rear struts out I noticed the significant difference in diameter from the factory springs to the new springs. What can I use on the new spring to fit into the stock perch?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are direct factory replacement springs, so nothing extra would be needed to have them fit your vehicle.

  • Q: Fit a 2007 2.5i  bmxdude661cr451636 years ago

Hey I was just wondering if these will fit a 2007 2.5i. I have seen other 2.5is for sale that have these on. I just wanted to make sure.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are designed to match the valving of the WRX and STi struts that are listed under the confirmed application. So even though they should bolt right up to the 2.5I struts the spring rate might not match the valvings range.

  • Q: 06 wrx wagon  WrxWagon066 years ago

Hi I am thinking about getting these springs for my 06 wrx wagon. I just wanted to know if I can just slap these on or if I need to replace the struts or any thing else. Also if these springs will work on the wagon. Thanks for the help. Pat
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hi Pat, These springs will work with your stock wagon suspension, but they perform better with upgraded struts.

  • Q: Wagon Fitment  flamexdeluge073937 years ago

Hey guys, are the S-Techs sedan specific on the fitment, or would they work on an 07 Wagon? Thanks RSD!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hello, Tein does not state that these are sedan specific and we have seen customers use them on their wagons so I don't suspect you should have any problems with your 2007 model. The only concern I have is that there is extra weight in the rear of the wagon which may make it sit lower, if it sits too low for your liking you may have to simply install some saggy rear end spacers. Thank you.
