Description

The RCE “Regular Guy” Black springs are intended for both the daily driven street driver as well as the autocross and track day weekend warrior. Using similar spring rates as the extremely popular and successful RCE Yellow Springs, but having a much more subtle/mild drop in comparison, these are perfect for STi owners not looking for a ride height much lower than stock, and yet are still looking for increased spring rates. Although these springs may have a subtle look, you will still be outpacing just about everything on the track and auto-x course.

Will also fit a WRX
Macj_9872210 5 years ago
These springs will also fit a 2002-2007 WRX. They will not work rate wise with the stock struts, they are too stiff, so buy some konis or tokico d specs. They are bolt on with the 02-03 tophats. If you have 04+ top hats, you will need a spacer. Google scooby921 strut spacer.

  • Q: Strut Pairing  05RS 4 years ago

    Answer

Would these work well with Tokico HP blue struts?

  • Q: Will these work with a Feal strut rebuild?  mrwalken2097260 4 years ago

    Answer

Is there anything else I would need with these on an 04 STi? Another comment here mentions a strut spacer. Is this really needed?

    • A: These would work with no issues on a 04 STi. Also Feal might be able to valve your struts specifically to work with these springs at time of rebuild. No strut spacers should be needed.

  • Q: Can I buy just the rear springs?  wrxdriver200234483 5 years ago

    Answer

Would I be able to buy just the rear springs out of this kit from you guys?

    • A: Unfortunately we do not have the ability to split up kits, they come directly from RaceComp Engineering to us, then shipped out to the customer from here.

  • Q: Dirt?  tcwedge9347332 5 years ago

    Answer

How do these do in the dirt, and how much lower are they? I'm looking for springs that will eliminate bobble head that are an inch or less lower than stock height that wont beat the crap out of everything in my car in the dirt.

    • A: Drop Height Front: .6 in Drop Height Rear: .4 in Drop Height Front Metric: 15 mm Drop Height Rear Metric: 10 mm Dirt driving will depend on what your consider dirt. For just slow pace gravel roads to grandmas house it would be not bad, however if you are planning on doing some high speed driving and jumping you will need to look into doing off road specific coilovers.
