06 WRX wagon 10 months ago

Great lowering springs! On my car for about a month now and I love them! Gives the car a nice tuck without being slammed. I can still get around town and don't have to worry about speed bumps! I paired these with KYB G-excel struts and Group N top hats.

These are perfect factory replacement springs. They ride nicely for daily driving and handle small speed bumps with no problems. Noticeablely better handling and fixed the wheel gaps.

Perfect for my 05 Wagon DD 4 years ago

I did a lot of research before ordering springs. My car is daily driven, and our roads aren't that great. I don't do track days, but drive very hard in the mountains. I wanted something to lower my wagon but not too low. These are engineered to work with oem struts. I couldn't be more pleased! Just a little stiffer when you need it, but overall ride quality is like oem. LHelped out with body roll quite a bit, but I don't have to be paranoid over speed bumps. LOOK NO FURTHER!!

    Perfect Drop 5 years ago

I installed these springs on my 06 Wrx wagon and I couldn't be happier. Dropped the front 1-1.5 and didn't barely drop the rear, perfectly evened out wheel gap. Ride is slightly lowered-car-ish but overall the ride is very smooth, no harsh jarring or anything. All in all very good mod. Already had the epic sway bar in the rear and these springs along with the sway bar have been the best mods to date.

Not too sure what to make of these springs. They are definitely better than stock, which on a 2004 ts wagon was getting very floaty. But they are borderline bouncy with replacement KYB Excel G struts. I would go with some adjustable struts if I was doing it again. I find myself avoiding bumpy streets now, and swerving all around to avoid bumps in the road. Alot stiffer than I was expecting! I am also not too impressed that the rear of the wagon still sags a bit relative to the front. It definitely did not achieve the same result on my car as the picture on the Epic website.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Fitment on 04 WRX Wagon?   SmurfWgn2 years ago

I read somewhere that in order to use these on an 04 WRX Wagon you had to have Sedan tophats for the rear? Is that true?
    • Q: Epic Springs on KYB struts  Rjames4263 years ago

Will these springs fit on KYB struts with Group N top hats?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These should fit any OEM replacement struts and top hats designed for the confirmed vehicle.

    • Q: 07 Impreza  rickyimpreza5 years ago

Would these fit on a 07 2.5i, on many other lowering springs it is listed that lowering springs would wrx and 2.5i of the same model year. Would these work on my car and give the same drop?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These springs would more than likely fit a 2007 2.5i, but we can only guarantee fitment on WRX models because that is what Epic confirms.

    • Q: Designed for stock struts?  OsirisGage6 years ago

These springs are designed for use with stock struts, does this negatively affect their compatability/reliability with aftermarket struts such as KYB excel G's?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These springs will work with both OEM and aftermarket struts. Aftermarket struts will give you better handling and there should be no downside to using these with aftermarket struts that are designed to be a direct replacement for OEM.
