Second time I've used Eibach springs on a car, just as happy as the first time around. Will definitely be using Eibachs on my hatch as well. Shipping was fast, had my Springs in about 4 days. Locals shops (afraid to work on Subarus) wanted to charge me something rediculous, like $1000 to install. Other ones flat out said they wouldn't do it. Small towns, go figure. So I just did it myself with a couple quick YouTube videos and the paper instructions. Highly recommend an impact wrench, which cost me about $100. Spring compressors I rented from an auto part store for free. Took about 4 hours to do by myself, would have been faster but the rears are a pain to get out without a second person. I ended up using a breaker bar between the lugs to give me the leverage to crank the control arm down enough to get the shocks out. Rode on it for a couple weeks to let them settle, then had the alignment done. Toe and camber were off, so definitely get the alignment done. Ride isn't much different than stock, except in the corners where it definetly is stiffer. It's true to the advertised .8" drop. Just enough to get rid of that annoying wheel gap, so decided to stick with 17s after lowering. Looks amazing, rides comfortable. Good for daily driving.

The springs feel softer than stock until they are loaded up and they feel much firmer. Decreases the amount of roll the car has when you throw it into a corner. Great set of springs

Drop is as advertised. About .75" in front and .6" in back. Ride is stiffer than stock but not much. Overall VERY happy with the product.

Good build quality and despite higher spring rates ride quality is not compromised. Handling has improved a bit. I cannot wait to couple the springs with upgraded sway bars.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q:  bumpstops?  bryana122 years ago

Do these only come with 2 bumstops? Aren't 4 required or are any modifications required to the OEM bump stops?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  New bump stops are provided for the front. For the rear, you will need to trim the 20mm from the bottom of the OEM bump stop.

    • Q: Paired with Whiteline KCA409  evaradar3 years ago

How will the setup be, if I pair this with the Whiteline KC409 strut mounts for the front?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These should work fine paired with the KCA409 as long as you are using struts that will fit properly with the top hats.

    • Q: Other parts needed?  vogtlen007513 years ago

Will this require new end links and new adjustable control arms as well? Or can they go straight onto stock struts without anything else?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Endlinks and control arms are not required, although camber correction is needed depending on the desired alignment.

    • Q: Effect on OEM struts?  evaradar3 years ago

How are these on OEM struts in terms of reliability? Meaning can I use the OEM struts, or would it be better to use them on aftermarket struts?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are designed to be used with OEM struts although any stiffer than stock spring is going to shorten the life of the vehicle's struts to some degree.
