The springs are just what i was looking for. A stable drop, solid driver, feels like stock but with a bit more of bounced. In the after pictures I added, new rotors and 20mm spacers for a bit more aggressive off set.

Good for the price... but don't expect too much 9 months ago

The ride on these is pretty good; very daily drivable. I've gone on several long drives with these installed and had 3/4 people in the car and no one ever complained. They give the car a nice look. Though they seemed to be a little uneven. The driver side sat a little lower (finger width) then the passenger side. Ate thru my stock struts within a few months. However, it could have been that my struts were on the way out anyway.. Do not expect the looks, adjustability, or handling that coilovers will give you.. especially if you are paring these with the OEM struts. Despite that though if you are on a budget and just looking to lower the car a bit these are what you need. After being on these springs for over 6 months I am happy to say that I will be upgrading to coilovers very soon.

Like everyone else has already said these are great sprigs for the price. I had also paired these with Koyo struts. I was worried at first after i lowered the rear of my car there was a giant gap but once the car was on all four wheels it settled nicely. I also have my 16in winter wheels (I forget the size at the moment) and there is no rubbing with them. I followed install guides that I have found online. Some tools to help with the install would be: Spring compressors, standard socket set, pass through socket set, allen socket, crow foot wrench and a torque wrench. If you were to also replace the struts add an angle grinder, a vise, drill and drill its, step bits, some spray paint, also a longer bolt to help pull the cartridges into the strut

Installed this product with the help of a few mates today on my 09 WRX hatch. Absolutely love the results! Perfect drop was worried as I'm running 18s. A lot less body roll in corners, stiffer than stock ride feels a lot better. Very happy with the product so far

The springs seem to be very high quality and they are a great bang for the buck. Install was pretty straight forward, especially with watching a install on YouTube first. Only specialty tool needed was a spring compressor which you can rent for free from Autozone.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Why is drop height different for 11-12 year models?  REX11 months ago

Just wondering why would the drop height be 1.4 inches in the front and 1.2 inches in the back for the Hatchbacks except the 11-12 year models being a 0.8 inch drop height on the same lowering springs?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Those two models were made with different struts so they have just a bit of overall difference.

    • Q: 18inch wheels  craker3325433703 years ago

Hey I'm running a 18x8.5/235/40ZR18 setup. Will there be rub with these springs? I noticed the image gallery everyone is running these on 17inch wheels.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We do not have the ability to confirm fitment with specific wheel and tire setups and offset will play a huge part in fitment.

A:  I am running these springs on my 2011 wrx. Wheels are 18x8 rota torques with 245/40/18's. No rubbing issues for me.

    • Q: Ride height  jnorris55053 years ago

I have a 2012 wrx hatch , about how much will this drop my ride height ? More then a inch or closer to exactly a inch
    • Q: installation   Oni3 years ago

Do I need to cut a piece of bump stop off for this install?
    • Q: How much negative camber should I expect to see from this drop?  enzomatic163963 years ago

I'm curious because I want to know if I can get away with camber bushings or if I will need lateral links to get back to stock specs.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The amount of negative camber can depend on the vehicle and alignment. Camber bushings are recommended to bring the vehicle back into OEM spec.
