The Pedders Coil Springs are a great OEM replacement for those of you who want OEM like ride quality with a little more performance. These springs lower the vehicle slightly, however they are a tad stiffer for better handling and for better feedback for spirited driving.
This is a complete set of front and rear springs that are ready to be installed in your vehicle, and will be suitable for the daily driver, while delivering great performance for the weekend autocross.

Bought these to replace the Tanabe GF210 I installed in on my '11 WRX in 2013. Both front Tanabes self -destructed after 5 salty and cold VT winters. Unfortunately they are no longer available for the 2011 WRX, which is why I switched to the Pedders. Car stance is almost the same as with the Tanabes, maybe just a tad lower. Comfort is great (could be because I now have four working springs...). The only thing that really bugs me about them is that the front ones are definitively too short. As mentioned by another reviewer, the springs do not touch the top hat with the strut fully extended and freely rotate. Makes correct installation a bit of a pain. Also makes me wonder what Pedders means by "Cut To Precise Length".
I bought my 2011 WRX Hatchback with 62k miles in 2015. Gave it to wife 2 months ago when I got a newer truck. The car came with Cobb lowering springs installed. The Cobbs gave the car a good stance but the ride was horrible (wonder why they're no longer produced). I live in Alaska were roads are not smooth and not always paved. The progressive springs allowed the struts to bottom out on the littlest of bumps. Due to this car was on second set of struts and they failed within 5k miles of install. I was looking for a replacement set of springs to compliment OE spec struts which led me to these. Linear rate springs with rates not much stiffer than stock. Installed them with Monroe OESpectrum struts and got it aligned after a week of driving. Install is strait forward as it's same as any spring install. Only issue I have is springs do not touch top hat with strut fully extended. Driving impressions are great. The car rides like a car should. Its not a plush ride like my Raptor but it shouldn't be. It is a nice sporty ride. You hit a bump, they absorbe it and it's done. It doesn't sound like the strut is going to go through the hood like on the Cobbs. They pass the wife test as it's her car and likes the ride of these springs and new OE spec struts. This was not the first time I've ordered parts from RSD and will not be the last. Shopping to me up here is quick and actually reasonable.
