This example is the popular Killer B Motorsport 321 Stainless Steel Holy Header. This header and/or exhaust manifold is a great way to increase the exhaust flow due to the smooth bends in the design that will optimize the exhaust flow. This will help maximize the flow potential of your turbocharger which will also reduce the spool time. This is an equal-length design that will produce an aggressive exhaust note while improving the performance and response throughout the entire RPM band. 

 

 

 

FEATURES:

  • CAST COLLECTOR: The collector is made of thick-walled cast 347 stainless. This design removes several welds which removes flow disruption for less turbulence. This also allows the collector to be designed as a true high-velocity merge.
  • SHORT EQUAL LENGTH PRIMARIES: Shorter length primaries make for an equal length header which means less header volume and quick spool up. 
  • SYMMETRICAL PRIMARY DESIGN: A similar tube length and bend geometry keeps the pulse velocities high and consistent when compared to equal length headers with different non-symmetrical primary tubing geometry.
  • SMOOTH MANDREL BENDS: All the bends utilize a mandrel to promote non-restrictive flow, and Killer B uses the largest bends possible at every location. 
  • THICK WALLED 321 STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION FOR LONG LIFE: 321 is alloyed with titanium which not only costs more but it is ideal to handle the elements of extreme heat found in the turbocharger. With that being said, the turbocharger will create heat that will surpass the limits of 304 stainless steel, and 321 is more robust to promote longer life. 
  • V-BAND UP PIPE CONNECTION for fast and easy installation without leaks and for perfect alignment
  • Up-Pipe Included and has been specifically designed to work with the Holy Header

    Fitment wasn't spot on from the up-pipe -> header. The piece between the up-pipe and the header (Where the V-Band is) itself was off by about 1/2 an inch. After some prying, everything went smooth. Also on the 2017 models, there is another bracket on the stock up-pipe so you need to push this upwards and down towards the downpipe. (Assuming you're on a lift). Also, you should buy new studs for this up-pipe, we managed to reuse the old ones off the stock up-pipe, but it wasn't easy getting them off. All in all, not a bad purchase. Great quality, but the install on the 2017 is a bit different than the 2015's.

    I have a 2015 sti with 4k miles thought I could use the original studs. Double nut method or applying heat would not get them out of the old up pipe so best to get new studs. Definitely worth the money though

    Got this two months back. An excellent addition to the car. The torque and throttle response is amazing. My car is a stage 2 with a Milltek turbo back and the car sounds amazing. If you would like to hear it, the clip is below http://youtu.be/1DUJjmWZHIs I am giving it 4 stars because the Greddy Oil Sandwich Adapter GRE 12002801, does not clear the headers. So I had to remove it and I am running without a oil temperature reading at the moment. :(

    2013 wrx process west intercooler/ aem intake/ cobb catted downpipe car lives at 4600 ft / 5000ft elevation pro tuned 248 hp 248 tq on the worst fuel in the country ACN 91 . After install of coated header and a deatschworks 65C pump on stock injectors and retune 263 hp/ 278 Tq on 16 psi of boost injector duty cycle 81%. Better spool and throttle response

      I recently completed the exhaust with the invidia catted dp. And awe track edition catback on my 2019 STI with accessport and turbo smart bov. I recently purchased a Cobb tuning set up for a new fuel system and this killler b set up. Before installing these will I need to purchase a larger turbo or should my stock be able to hold the power I need. Not looking to race just just like to make quick take offs off the light.
