This is a great way to save some money by purchasing the short shifter and the bushings as a combo. Rest assured you will fully restore the shift feel with the new bushings, you will also improve the shift throw by up to 40%. This combination includes the standard shifter bushing replacements, but also the rear bushing along with the short shifter. The Kartboy bushings are made out of a strong lasting urethane to replace your factory soft bushings.
Please note that if your WRX has the factory short shifter, then this is the correct Kartboy combo for you.

Installed on my rhd 97 STI. Throw is only a little bit shorter but with the bushings feels much better between gears. Front bushing was easy but rear bushing was difficult to install as the distance between the bolt holes and sitting angle of the bushing wasn't exactly (off maybe 2mm) the same as the OEM part. Overall, very pleased.
Bit of a pain in the ass to install the rear shifter bushing, would suggest attacking the bolts from inside the car, just remove the interior trim around the shifter, way easier than bending your arm around the driveshaft. All in all, great product! Incredible difference, one of my favorite mods.

Will this fit a 1997 Impreza Outback Sport? I only see 98+ listed, but wasn't sure if there was a difference in the MT in 1993-1997 models.
