These just flat-out do not work, they slip over sure, but too loose and they just slide around, if you press hard enough for them to grip the actual dial, you can tell you are digging into the dash surround and there is significant resistance to turning at all as a result. Adding 3M tape would be a HUGE mistake, as it would be sheared off by how thin these are, and likely forced into your dash, which would almost certainly gum up the mechanism for the knobs inside the dash. LONG STORY SHORT DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE.
