I had this exhaust on my '03 WRX Wagon and I loved every minute of driving with this exhaust. After an accident I had to get a new car and luckily got ahold of a DGM '08 WRX wagon. I took advantage of the Black Friday sales and got one of the last few of these lovely N1's. I gotta say I missed that sound and I'm so glad I made my purchase. There is no mistake that this exhaust is one of the loudest you can get (the drone isn't as terrible as people say it's easy to get used to) but it is one of the best sounding exhausts to get for your WRX/STi. That boxer rumble is easily heard every time you step on the throttle and even at WOT it sounds so mean. If you want the true boxer sound and you don't want any raspiness, order yours now. As always RSD is #1 in customer service. Shipping is quick as always and the prices are good too. Don't wait or think too long, get this exhaust ASAP!!!
This exhaust sounds great! Very easy to install but do yourself a favor and buy a new donut gasket.
This thing is like a subwoofer for your engine. It's that boxer rumble we all know and love, but SO deep, bass-y, and throaty. It's GLORIOUS. The engine tone is so deep that only about 20% of the noise is recorded when you try to film it with your iPhone. This is why videos don't do it justice and you need to hear it in person! It's not THAT loud, really. Don't get me wrong, it's loud alright - I had a headache for the first hour after install until I got used to the MASSIVE drone - but it's not obnoxious like a lot of other exhausts. So you're going to get a bit of attention, but almost all of that is going to be positive attention :D Basically, it's all the fun of a loud ass exhaust, but it's not a huge cop magnet. If you want loud, deep, and bass, get this. If you want quieter with less drone (and $300 more :/) get the Q300.
TOOK AN HOUR MAX TO INSTALL! *** BE AWARE THAT IF YOU HAVE A STOCK DOWN-PIPE, YOU NEED TO DRILL OUT THE TWO HOLES TO ATTACH MID-PIPE AND GASKET. ALSO RECOMMENT USING LOCK WASHERS, THEY AREN'T PROVIDED.

A: No modification to the stock donut gasket is necessary and is not recommended. We do however recommend using the stock donut gasket to make that connection.

A: They do not have a dual N1 system at this time for the hatch, only for the sedans.

A: As this is a straight through muffler it will be on the louder end of things. So just keep that in mind. Should be able to have a normal conversation, but the exhaust noise will always be in the background.

A: We do offer this exhaust with the titanium (burnt) tip for hatchbacks, but we can't confirm fitment for the 2012 WRX, because Invidia has not test fitted this exhaust on that car.
