I had the magnaflow on my car that I had purchased used when I first got it, but it was non-resonated, and I wanted to see if I could get something a little quieter, and a little less raspy since I'm running catless, it tends to sound a little bit tinny. First off, 1 muffler weighs less than 2, so it was an easy choice. I wish the piping wasn't so shiny. Don't need to attract any more attn from the cops. Almost thought about hitting it with some very fine sandpaper to mellow down the look a bit. The polished can doesn't bother me too much, but would also prefer that to be more stealth. Now, as far as the sound, again, I'm running catless. Still got a bit of the tinny sound. Would be nice if the resonator was longer like 18 or 24 instead of 12 but that's how it goes. You want 3 inch with a full sized straght thru muffler, you get little choice. This was as close as it gets for me. I wouldn't want to ruin a $600 CBE by cutting and welding a longer resonator in it and haveing to pay the additional money to do so...so it will just have to do. Overall, I highly recommend this CBE.
I have a 2011 wrx and wanted to get away from the drone I was finding with every dual exhaust set up I heard. Picked this up and found it has a perfect amount of sound and performance for the money! Only wish it came without the rolled tip!
Had this installed this weekend and it sounds and looks great. I went with the single sided version because i wanted something more unique and liked how the muffler and tip line up in the factory location instead of the angle on the N1. It is louder than the videos suggest, with a nice deep rumble throughout the rev range. Would not call it quiet but I would definitly call it refined compared to the cackle of other aftermarket units. I figure the $150 i saved by going single sided covered the cost of the up-pipe haha.
I installed this on my 2011 WRX sedan with some long Kartboy hangers. It went on pretty easy, and bolted right up to my Agency Power downpipe. It looks great, sounds great, and performs great!

A: We do not have a listed horsepower increase for this catback. In general catbacks are going to be minimal in performance gains and mostly increase sound and styling.

I'm looking for a nice Mellow single tip exhaust for my 2012 wrx. I want some rumble but to get rid of the stock drone. Will this exhaust fit?

A: This will not fit a 2012 WRX, we have other Q300 models for your vehicle that are specific to both sedan or hatch.
