2011 WRX. Install was pretty simple and quick. I am blown away by the results. Looks super clean and a very noticeable performance gain over OEM tmic. I didn't realize how much the stock intercooler was holding me back. Worth the $... only complaint is the hose clamps aren't the quality I was expecting. I ended up using most of them but likely to replace them soon.

What can I say, I am very pleased with the verticooler. The kit came with quality silicone hoses and hardware. The welds on the verticooler look amazing. It took a few tires to get the fitment just right, but it definitely is a tight fit in the engine bay. I have to say after getting tuned with the verticooler, my engine responded very well with it. When they say leave the bolts loose and do not tighten them, they are right. The bolt that holds the verticooler to the transmission was a pita, but after a few tries I was able to bolt it down. It took some wiggling around to get everything lined up correctly. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase of this verticooler. It looks very nice in the engine bay and performs very well. To me, it’s well worth the money.

Fitment was a bit tricky with my GoFastBits BPV, and a couple other things, but not a deal breaker. The welds on this intercooler are beautiful and the quality is really nice. When you hold the core next to the stock one, it is crazy how much bigger the Verticooler is. All the hardware and silicone bits are high quality, too. The air duct that attaches to the hood scoop is super gnarly! You can tell how much better the flow will be just by looking at it. The kit came with detailed instructions with colored pictures that were very easy to follow. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this part to anyone else looking to upgrade their WRX intercooler.
Excellent Quality! Huge!

Had this verticooler for almost 8 months to go with my cobb stage 2+ and protune. Intake temps have been low as expected. It still gets a little heat soak if its stop and go traffic but after driving up to at least 30mph on a green light, temps drop quickly! Install could be a little tricky and I did what the other reviews did by keeping bolts loose until its ready to be bolted down. The long bolt that fastens to the transmission could be a little tricky but not impossible. The same thing goes with the the cobb heat shield...its a little tight but it did fit.

I've been using the intercooler for over a year now, it's performed great and always stayed very cool even in Texas heat. I'm using it with a ATP GTX3071r put down 435whp 430ftlb torque on Awdtuning Mustang dyno. A great perk of using this PW TMIC VS any FMIC is it contributes to very quick spool time my car pulls peak torque (430ftlb) at 3950RPM. *****

Q: Will this fit with the crawford AOS? Andrew 6 months agoAnswer
Will this fit with the crawford AOS?
A: Unfortunately, we haven't been able to test the fitment on most of our products because we just don't have enough time in the day. From what I know, people have run these set ups fine but we aren't able to confirm it. This is where I encourage reaching out and seeing what the forums say and reviews!

I understand this fits my wrx fine with cobb heatshield. But im looking at upgrading my turbo (BLC TD06H-20GXT-R8CM) with traditional style turbo to accommodate the wrx 2 bolt outlet. Does this come with necessary fittings to fit?
A: If changing to a traditional style turbo, you would also need the Verticooler traditional turbo upgrade hose. The part number for this is PRW PWSH005.
