When your upgrading to a larger turbo or driving the car hard it is important keep the air charge as cool as possible. Even though the stock intercooler is able to flow sufficient air, it is still only designed for mild driving and stock power levels.

Whether you are looking for looks or performance, you can't beat the Process West Front Mount Kit. It installs perfectly on the front of your STI with no cutting of any metal. The end tanks are upswept which allows for maximum flow distribution across the entire intercooler core. And let's face it, it looks great as well.

  • Q: Upgraded turbo necessary   Polishkgn 2 years ago

Would I need to get a bigger turbo to fully utilize this system. Vf48 right now.

    • A: A Front Mount Intercooler is typically only necessary for setup making over 450whp.

Is there any additional things I need to buy or does it just bolt

Is the kit set up to work with a rotated Turbo, such as a Full Race Borg Warner EFR setup? If not is the front mount intercooler available by itself and what is the cost? Is it available with black finish? What are the dimensions? Thank you,

    • A: The piping for this kit is designed to only work with stock location turbos, and it could be adapted for a rotated turbo, but modification would be required. We have not needed to order the core separately so far, and please contact customer service so we can see if that is an option. The dimensions are 24.40" x 10.82" with a depth of 3.54 ".

Which CAI can fit with this kit? Or can the AEM CAI fit? Thank you

    • A: We have not tested fitment with the AEM CAI and we can only confirm compatibility with the Process West cold air intake at this time.

  • Q: Fitment  SubaruGirardi 4 years ago

Hey just curious on two subject with this intercooler. With this intercooler being 10inchs shorter would the Cusco Front Member Power Brace fit with this intercooler?? And how much wheel horse power would this handle cause I'm in the process of a 550 hp build

    • A: Unfortunately we do not have any testing when it comes to the Cusco front member power brace and fitment with this intercooler so we would not be able to guarantee fitment with each part. Process West has not released horsepower figures but it is likely this can support your goals.
