Even though your factory intercooler is good enough for a stock car, it could really limit your performance once you start performing modifications that surpass the limits of your stock intercooler. You could run into issues such as heat soak among other issues. With that said COBB Tuning relieves this issue with their Front Mount Intercooler.
The COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler Kit is larger in volume, and it features cast aluminum end tanks with a 2.5" inlet and 3" outlet, and it will come provided with a 3" mandrel bent aluminum pipe that connects the intercooler to the throttle body. The intercooler pipe will come powder-coated in a nice black finish to provide extra protection against corrosion, and to provide a cleaner look to the engine bay.
This is the perfect upgrade to supplement the rest of the modifications in your vehicle such as exhaust, intake, injectors, or increased boost. The COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler will come ready to install with provided hardware, silicone couplers, and a set of high-grade clamps.

This thing is MASSIVE. It really helps to keep the charge air temps down to maintain power longer. Ford really crippled the Ecoboost Mustang with a small FMIC, and this helps make that wrong a right.
