Features & Product Details

RallySport Direct proudly carries a great selection of performance intakes, intercoolers, and accessories brought to you by Process West.

Here, you are looking at the Process West Street Version Intake Manifold. This intake manifold is simply a work of art in the engine bay made using full billet aluminum construction with billet bell mouth ended runners. This intake manifold is ideal for vehicles requiring more power in the upper rev range in big horsepower builds.

DETAILS:

  • Street version
  • Full billet aluminum plenum
  • Biller bell mouth ended runners
  • CNC mandrel bent tube components
  • Billet/polished finish
  • The manifold is the result of years of research and testing, multiple prototypes and ground-up redesign of the original  groundbreaking  "Corsa Veloce" product range
  • High-end TIG welding assembly makes them suitable for up to 100psi boosted applications
  • The plenum volume and runner length combination  has  been selected for aggressive low and mid-range torque while opening up power higher in the rev range
  • The plenum volume is large enough for serious gains but is still compatible with factory AC
  • The Street version is suitable for any level of performance modification as they have conducted tests on completely stock engine/turbo/fuel system setups with approximately 9% gains in torque and power level, with the same percentage gain on highly modified setups running E85
  • For a fully streetable but aggressive setup, while retaining the comfort of AC, the Street version manifold is the solution

    5out of 5stars

This manifold is gorgeous. The welds are amazing and the attention to detail is fantastic. The first thing most people say when I pop the hood is wow. I was hesitant to install it on my car seeing as how fitment has only been confirmed for the STIs and not the 06-07 WRX. I did some thorough research and found that the throttle body and TGVs are identical and it bolted up just fine. I haven't seen it on too many street cars and found no installation instructions to follow. So this is a job for someone that has good mechanical know how and can do custom work. I did have to extend, replace and tie in a lot of vacuum lines, relocate some things, cut inter-cooler pipes and a few other odds and ends. It is pretty straight forward for the most part. I had to get a longer brake booster line to hook up properly, and as a helpful tip, remember that there is a one way valve pill inside the line that you will need to pull out. Be sure to put it back in the correct way or else you will have no power brakes (ask me how I know). I also bypassed the TB coolant lines since I felt no need for hot coolant going through my TB when the car doesn't see sub-freezing temperatures. I suggest marking (with tape and a pen) what vacuum and coolant lines go where as you remove them. I struggled with wondering where half of them went as I pulled them off in a frenzy to get this on. I paired this with Process West fuel rails so I could get some bigger fuel lines going. It has a lot more volume than the stock manifold, stands taller (especially with my Cosworth manifold spacers) and sits further back. Throttle response is definitely improved and intake sound is louder. Don't forget that you will need a custom tune after installing this to get the proper A/F ratios with all the added air coming in. All in all I am super satisfied with this product. It looks great under the hood and I have no doubt it will continue to impress me.Thanks RSD and Process West for all you do!

I got this intake and was blown away by its quality. The welds a flawless. The amount of Cnc work is amazing. It even comes ported. There is nothing I can find wrong with it bolts right up. It does stand much taller then the stock mani.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Street vs Track  RWRXSTI6 months ago

I understand the street manifold tb inlet faces the bulkhead/firewall and allows you to retain the stock location for the alternator and AC compressor, I also understand the track manifold tb inlet faces the front of the car, but cannot have the AC compressor installed and the alternator needs to be rotated/adjusted/moved to where the AC Compressor sits. With that being said... Will the Street version hold up to the same power potential as the track version? I want to get the most power I can out of an intake manifold as I can, however I would like to keep the AC if possible. Is it worth losing AC for the Track version? What kind of power difference/percentage is there between the two? Thanks in advance!
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Both the street manifolds and race manifolds are going to have very similar flow characteristics and will make equal power numbers, however, the biggest difference is going to be the amount of piping that the street manifold needs in comparison to the race manifold so there is going to be more lag with the street manifold due to the added intercooler piping. If you would like to keep your AC system I would recommend going with the street manifold and a slightly smaller turbo to keep lag to a minimum.

    • Q: Process West IM fitment   Bayne1 year ago

I’m going to be installing this on my 2016 Sti with an ETS fmic from your site. ETS 100-29WB, COBB intake+turbo inlet, and a Cobb 20g with the flex fuel kit. I was hoping you could tell me what things need to modified, and if there is anything else I will need? Thanks
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Sounds to be a pretty straight forward install and you shouldn't need anything else. I would consult a tuner to ensure they are good to line and tune everything up but you look good to us!

    • Q: fitment and modifications  e chavez3 years ago

Will this intake manifold can fit with an aftermarket tmic? also, can i install this with a tgv delete kit?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This manifold is intended for use with front mount intercoolers. You might be able to customize a TMIC, but it would require modification. You can install TGV deletes with this manifold.

Does this manifold require TGV bodies to be present, or does it mount directly the to cylinder heads?
