This is the Chemical Guys Grit Guard Insert that has been designed to trap dirt at the bottom of your wash bucket. Yes, when you wash your car your mitt picks up left over dust and dirt particles on your vehicle and when you throw your mitt back in the bucket, those particles end up floating around in the water. This grit guard insert will fit on the bottom of any 3 to 5-gallon bucket and the grid surface scrapes dirt out of your mitt or sponge. It can also help clean your mitts, brushes, towels, along with other washing utensils. When you have grit guards in your bucket you reduce the chance of scratches. These are also stackable to increase cleaning and filtering power.
