IAG Performance V2 Competition Series EJ Timing Belt Tensioner

Here, you are looking at the IAG Performance V2 Competition Series EJ Timing Belt Tensioner. The V2 Series when compared to the V1 Competition Series uses a combination of proven components from older generation Subaru models, and an additional roller to control the belt timing and tension. The V2 features billet aluminum construction, and the base is CNC machined in-house and anodized black for corrosion protection. 

This tensioner has been designed for high-revving and high-horsepower engines that will need a tensioner to keep the timing belt more controlled and in place under high-performance driving conditions. The OEM timing belt tensioner works well on vehicles that make mild power but it can cause the timing belt to skip timing once you hit a certain power level.
