The IAG Performance Race 6-Speed Transmission Mount is ideal for those of you who really need to secure that transmission down from excessive movement. These are a great upgrade for those of you with modifications as the increased torque will cause more movement. Or, if you have a track-dedicated racecar that will see constant abuse and movement and you need a solid mount to local the transmission down.
Note that with solid mounts, there could be the potential of increased noise, vibration, and harshness of the vehicle. IAG designed this mount so that if it is too harsh, you can change supplied 90A durometer bushings to the softer 75A durometer bushings.

So got this as an add-on to my CAE ultra shifter install and this solid mount makes the shifting smoother and more of that race car feel. The shifter doesn't jerk back when you lift the throttle. One downside that people might not like is the whine in first and second gear, I love it. Overall very happy with this mount, should have installed this sooner.
This mount changed the entire feel of the car and exhaust note. The car seems much more stable and the gear whine is awesome. Shifting is much more crisp. Don’t forget to pick up a positive shift kit when purchasing this mount. You don’t need it but it’s well worth it while swapping mounts.
Installation is pretty simple. Love how the car feels and responds now. Best bang for your buck.
