Invidia Gemini Single Layer Cat Back Exhaust w/Stainless Steel Tips
Subaru WRX/STI 2015+
Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct proudly carries a large selection of quality high-performance master-crafted exhaust options brought to you by Invidia.
This is the Invidia Gemini Single Layer Cat-Back Exhaust System. The Gemini is among one of the most popular cat-back exhaust systems available as they make for an excellent upgrade over the OEM exhaust system to improve the performance and the sound. The combination of increased piping diameter along with smooth bends relieves the exhaust with restriction and turbulence under acceleration which will increase the horsepower, the torque, all while improving the throttle response and reducing the turbo lag.

Shipped quickly and was packaged amazingly well. The exhaust looks to be great quality and was a quick and easy instal. The tips lined up perfectly with almost no issues. The sound is amazing at low speeds and not too loud, even as you get above 3000 rpms. Easy to hold a conversation on the highway at 75mph. I would absolutely recommend this to someone looking for a quality sound that is noticeably louder while still comfortable for conversations.
Just recently installed this on my 2015 WRX during the 10% off sale. I have to say, paired with the Invidia catless downpipe, my car sounds absolutely amazing. Probably even better than my old '04 with a catless downpipe and Invidia N1 Race exhaust. Fitment was perfect and the 4" tips look stunning. 100% would recommend, even though it's fairly expensive.
Exhaust appears to be well made. I originally used this with the Grimmspeed J pipe adaptor, however I cannot stand the look of the tips sticking out an extra inch to 1.5 inch with the adaptor so I removed it and used the flat gasket to my stock J pipe. So far it hasn’t leaked and I’m keeping a good eye on it and it looks way better. When I first installed it, it was too “loud” for me. After a while, when I forget I have an exhaust, it isn’t bad and I like it. But you will always know it’s there. It drones between 2.5k to 3.3k, once you go above that it mellows out. On the highway, it does not drone, it lightly hums and I can barely hear it. If you’re heavy on the throttle during take off, commute in traffic like LA, drive with a full carload of people, and occasionally want the exhaust to “disappear”, I’d say get something quieter. If you enjoy driving the canyons, downshifting with some pops, using sound to gauge your RPM’s, Revving up just because racecar, and to stand out, this is for you. I went from stock, to nameless muffler deletes, to the factory SPT/ STI upgraded exhaust, to this R400. Sound is DEEP on my 2015 WRX (Non-STI). Still haven’t decided if I prefer this R400 or the Q300. But based on Invidia’s design and intention of this exhaust, it’s solid.
Let me first say that I have a 'stock everything' 2018 WRX, so my experience might be different than yours if yours is tuned or what have you. Anyways, when cold started, this exhaust has a low tone and is very rumbly. Sounds great inside and outside the cabin. On a warm day, around 3000rpm in 3rd, the noise from the exhaust in the interior is very loud, almost a little too loud to have a conversation, but that's what I was looking forward to about this exhaust. On the highway, the sound is basically gone unless you gun it, and then it sounds great. I have actually heard this exhaust on an STi as well, and I kinda like it better on the WRX. It sounds more rounded, and more rich than I feel like it did on an STi. In terms of the installation, it took about 45 minutes with minimal effort. I've never done an installation like this, and following Youtube vids and a little help from a friend, the old exhaust was out and this was in. I will say that it's like, 5x heavier than the stock exhaust, and the tips are huge, but overall, it really enhances the looks of the car from the rear. Overall, I mean, I don't have much experience with other exhaust systems, but this one is pretty damn cool. Sounds good, looks good, and really enhances the experience of owning a WRX. Well worth the money, imo.
First, the delivery of this product was top notch and I am very happy with the purchase and dealings with RSD during and after the purchase. Second, the installation of this was very simple, especially after finding a video on youtube by someone who went through the process already. Unbolt, lube, and slide off the old exhaust from the CAT back, and then start installation of the new from the back front and it all goes together easily. Just make sure to get the correct adapter plate, if you need one, to connect to the downpipe. Lastly, the sound is fantastic! To give a sense of similarity, if you have heard the SPT exhaust on the 15's on, then you have heard almost exactly what this sounds like, only a little deeper. People can tell when you start your car. There is a low drone internally if you are driving for a while that could get to you. It might just be my installation, but at some point the sound has a reverb sound as if you are driving with one window down and getting that buffer feel going. Overall, very happy with my selection and would definitely do it again if given the option and would definitely suggest to anyone interested in it to enhance your sound to get this.

A: That is not a part number that we've got in our system. There is a very similar exhaust made by Invidia that is made with burnt titanium tips instead of stainless steel though, I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.
