The only downside is the price, but you get your money’s worth. Just had this installed on my 11 wrx install took maybe 15 minutes if that and the sound is amazing! I prefer a louder exhaust so it was perfect for me but if you’re looking for quiet look elsewhere.
PROS: Just love the sound. This is exactly what these cars are supposed to sound like. There isn't to much drone. GF doesn't mind it, and she's pretty finicky . Amazing sound through-out the entire RPM range. CONS: Invidia went a little cheap on the Y pipe. it looks like a two piece pressed together and tac welded. if this was supposed to be trimmed, mine wasn't. Get your own bolts, these are of poor quality. Other: I can not speak for the gaskets that ship with this. I had ordered all new gaskets from Cobb as one was leaking. probably the best 80 bucks I've spent (for the kit). PROTIP: Install the Grimmspeed hangers on the exhaust them hang on the car. Oh and get the Grimmspeed hangers!
This is a great first mod. It only took me about 1 hour to install, super easy and quick. I do feel a noticable difference in the car. Lower end it doesn't have as much kick but when you lay on the throttle the turbski spools so much faster. I paired this up with the grimmspeed hangers and downpipe adapter. The fitment is a little meh and it sits pretty close to the left rear axle and diff mount. But it hasn't come in contact with it yet. All in all this is a great sounding exhaust. especially when your hooning around.
This exhaust not only looks good, but sounds great. I have an aftermarket down pipe, up pipe, and the Perrin equal length headers and I couldn't be more pleased with the look and the great exhaust note it puts out throughout the RPM range, through every gear. Best decision I made for an exhaust.
would like it to be louder tbh.. but its a good enough loud. if only the made ETS muffled exhaust for GR's =(

Q: Invidia tip centering Dantavious4 years ago
Having trouble centering tips on the driver side of the car it’s touching the Diffuser, the passenger side is good. Any tips or suggestions on the best way to center the driver sides?

A: So if you loosen the exhaust you should be able to wiggle and position the exhaust on the hangers to get it centered. You may need to bend them a little bit to get everything correct before tightening back down. A professional exhaust shop would probably be able to do this if you didn't feel comfortable doing so.

Q: Fitment Reid Longo4 years ago
do the 2015+ STI's have different exhaust fitments than the 2011-14? I am looking into an ETS exhaust catback for my 11 sedans and I am wondering if it will fit because I can't find anything different with the exhausts.

A: By comparing the photos of each side by side they pretty much look identical, however, we are not able to confirm the fitment of a 2015+ catback to your 2011 because the manufacturers themselves do not confirm fitment.

Q: R400 model year fitment JohnnyB5 years ago
Recently purchased this exhaust from you guys for my 14 Sedan. Such as life is, I may be getting a 19 STI. I see the different part no's listed for 11-14 and 15 & up , but was wondering if the 14 would be at all usable for the 19 before I sell it? Thanks
