Installed this on my 2011 wrx. Great exhaust and basically no drone. Sounds and looks really great I had no problems with the instillation and I did not use an adapter/doughnut gasket and I do not have any leaks. Although the OEM gasket was basically just 100% solid rust. Make sure you get all of it off and get a flat surface for the new flat gasket. All in all, sounds really cool and not too loud. Very very cool :)
I have this exhaust mated to the Invidia Catted DP. The sound is amazing. Performance is great. The fitment is OK, no clearance issues under the car or contact with the bumper. The height in the rear is good. But the left/right and rotation of the pipes beginning at and after the 'Y' was noticeably off. Almost as if the rotation at and after the 'Y' was off by a few degrees. This caused the left tips to stick out more than the right along with the tip alignment in the rear bumper spaces. Took an hour of labor at a good local shop to get it sorted out. I don't expect perfection on a retail dual exhaust, but for ~1000 bucks I expect the imperfections to be barely noticeable.
Sounds awesome, perfect pitch. It got rid of all the drone from the stock exhaust. I dont like loud exhausts but even I was surprised how quiet this is. But if you plan to go turboback I think the volume will be perfect after a downpipe. Just wanted to let others know that if this exhaust smokes a bit when its new, its because its burning off residue in the exhaust. No need to worry.
This is what I've been looking for. Quality build for this exhaust system is top notch and that iconic Subaru boxer rumble sound brings me so much joy in my heart. Really happy with the purchased. Thanks RSD.
Everyone likes the quad tip... it sounds (resonated) way better than stock but is comfortable for distance if you care about that sort of thing. wakes up a little if you open up the rest of the pipes. Now the important stuff: welds are probably robo because they are perfect. bends are nice and smooth. Shes a little heavy, but look at those cans! -tip alignment is a pain, but doable -dont forget hanger bushings (please dont do the extended) -it may be quieter than you think or want... Then again I am deaf and have no problem driving a straightpiped sbc for hours with broken windows I am happy with it, and its plenty loud when you open it up. if only it were lighter

A: Nothing else is required to install this catback onto your OEM downpipe. Everything will fit like OEM and using the OEM downpipe to 3 inch catback adapter will help ensure a leak free seal.

A: The hardware to connect this to the downpipe will be included with this catback and you would only need to purchase the Turbo-Downpipe Gasket to complete the install.
