Bought these to replace the Subaru pads on my last change. I swapped over to HPS on the front a year or so ago, and was impressed by the quality of braking under daily driving and the occasional emergency stop. The rear pads bedded well, and were fairly broken in within the first 150mi. No squeaks, squeals, or clunks, just solid braking. The HPS pads create more dust than the OEM pads in my experience, but I prefer the extra bite and power of the HPS. My only complaint is the cost increase over the OEM pads when Hawk does not include any of the pad shims or plates that the OEM pads come with. It's said that some replacement pads do not require shims, etc, but there were no instructions with the pads to determine whether anything was required or not.
These pads grip onto the rotor really nice. 5 star I would buy again during replacement
these pads where a bit squeaky at first but they are silent now!
Setup is OEM pads and rotors on the front, Centric Premium rotors and HPS pads for the rear. Dust is less than OEM and no noise whatsoever. It's hard to tell if stopping power has increased since the fronts are more powerful and those are still OEM. An improved initial bite is slightly noticeable. I'm really tempted to pick up the HPS fronts along with new rotors even though I still have over 50% life left on them to really see what they can do.
