These are decent brake hoses, they all fit the car without any issue. There were C clips and metal tabs included though and I only used the tabs as that's what came off the car. The difference in pedal feel is that there is the same kinda mushiness at the beginning and then it's firm without the pedal going any further down. I currently have Carbotech XP8s on the car so the transition from little bite to lots of bite may be due to running those on the street. Will update over time and with different pads.
I've been running these for the past 9months. These were the first addition to my new brake setup. Didn't notice a whole lot of a difference when driving normally but a noticeable when driving in the canyons.
I have a 2013 WRX base and read reviews like the two below that give 5 star ratings and rave about how confidence inspiring and life changing these lines are compared to the stock rubber lines. There's a noticeable difference under moderate to heavy braking... but in the day to day, normal, braking range, I'd say the pedal feels is negligible. So if you're going to almost purely be driving the streets, I'm not sure the upgrade is worth it. But they certainly work and the hard brake does feel significantly different (consistent and solid IMO).
As much as we like to improve our car's ability to go fast, it's just as important to be able drop anchor and get it hauled down fright quick. I did these lines alone with a fluid change and decent, sporty brakes are now much more confidence inspiring and the pedal feel is excellent. Money well spent!
