Q: Is this truly a "dry carbon" hood? WRC fan4 years ago
Interested in this hood if it is made from pre-preg carbon and autoclave cured. Is it actually pre-preg carbon with no fiberglass plies atall, and lighter/stronger than the standard hood offered by Seibon? Or just a matte finish for about twice the cost? Would like to see pictures of the underside, to see if there's a strong latch or hood pins are absolutely required.

A: Seibon stated that they always use a very thin layer of fiberglass to have a basic structure and then build a true Carbon weave on top of that using a Vacuum laying process.
