Q: Fitment hardware and hood scoop Korrpie2 years ago
Does this have bolt holes already in the hood for fitment or does the buyer have to drill themselves? Am I seeing the hood scoop correctly as it looks to be different than the OE scoop? If it is different is there a way to get the OE scoop instead of the one that comes with this and is the hood scoop hardware the same as the original hardware?

A: Most of the holes will come pre-drilled with thread inserts already installed. However you may find that the hole for the windshield washer hole make need to be made, or enlarged, and other small things like that. Technically you can swap over the latch, bolt it on and go, but if you want OE fitment with all OE equipment, some modifications may need to be made. Also this uses the 04-05 STI style scoop design which is a bit larger than the OE 06-07 scoop. Hope this helps! Thanks.

A: We do not have the exact weight of the OEM or stock weight. However, on average you save between 3 and 8 pounds.
