  • Q: mounting?  CG_sti 4 years ago

can I mount these to my stock 05 sti seat brackets? or what will I need to mount them?

    • A: In order to properly mount any harness, you will need a harness bar or a roll cage. If harnesses are installed without a harness bar or roll cage, then the spine may be compressed in a collision.

  • Q: ?  Subie05 4 years ago

Would I need a wrapping hardware to be able to wrap them on a harnesses bar if so would I needed two wrapping hardware?

    • A: Harnesses need to be attached to the chassis and these should fit around a harness bar and down to most chassis.

  • Q: Mounting points  Jchon3 4 years ago

Differences in the bolt on vs. snap on? (besides the way they mount) Is either preferable as far as safety? and where do the Lap belts mount to?

    • A: The only difference is how they mount. Both are just as safe and are made to the same SFI/FIA standard Mounting of the harness is individual to each car. You might be able to use existing holes or you might need to drill/weld to your chassis.

  • Q: 2014 WRX Premium  Tom Seidel 5 years ago

Will these be compatible with the stock wrx seats?

    • A: Being a universal product these can potentially fit any vehicle, but most racing and trackcar organizations may require the use of a bucket with harnesses. It is best to consult your local organization for rules on harness mounting and seats.

  • Q: short or long version?  ctom24 5 years ago

I know in the past there were both short and long versions offered for sedans for rear seat mounting points and then 2 door or 2 seater versions that were shorter in length intended to mount usually to closer mounting points or a harness bar. is that still the case?

    • A: That is no longer the case and they only offer the long versions now
