Features & Product Details

This particular crank pulley has been carefully engineered and will decrease the rotational mass by more than 3.5lbs when compared to the OEM crank pulley. This is a direct replacement of your OEM crank pulley and will have a factory fit for a clean install.
This particular crank pulley has been CNC machined from 6061 T6 Aluminum, and has been balanced and will come with OEM timing marks for timing verification. Additionally, it comes with a perfect cut keyway to make it a straightforward installation.
Note that this particular crank pulley will come in an anodized black finish to add a cleaner look to your engine bay.

Noticed the difference instantly car idles smoother as well as it revs up slightly faster.
I was skeptical. Didn't think I'd notice. Had to replace my OEM Pullen after it failed on my 2005 Legacy GT wagon. Read the reviews, didn't believe what people said. I was wrong. I immediately noticed a difference. Rev matching is easier now. I didn't notice it before, but blipping the throttle there was a slight hesitation before, that's gone now. The engine is more responsive. I won't say it's night and day difference, and probably only an enthusiast would notice the difference. But I'm in tune with my car and I noticed, I think you will too. This wasn't a part I intended on buying, but I'm glad it did. Installation was absurdly simple. Removed the old and installed the new in under 30 minutes. Threw on new belts. Put the car in 5th with the e-brake on and a wheel chock for good measure. Bolt broke free easily with a breaker bar. 10/10, recommend this.
Keep that extra weight off the crank!! Nice solid 1 piece design, significantly lighter than the factory unit. Held up to the elements very well. Gains in throttle response.
Super excited to install this product! Great price and speedy shipping!
I bought this pulley along with the mishimoto radiator and shroud kit bc this would probably be the easiest way to install the pulley without having to buy a crank pulley tool. Worked out great as I had plenty of room with the radiator out. The performance of the pulley was pretty noticeable. I had always wondered why my Subaru had poor throttle response, it would be a little delayed. This made it rev a lot quicker and freed up HP that was being dampened by the heavy pulley. No it doesn’t ADD HP, just allows you to use the HP you have in a better manner.

Would you recommend to use this LW pulley in a car (2011 FXT) driving most of the time in bad road conditions? Would this potentially cause problems because of extra vibration, etc.? Thanks.

A: Yes your 2011 uses a stretch belt system that requires the belt to be cut for removal. Our install video may give you a better understanding of the system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4w3tJGozCM&feature=player_embedded

A: It will not be necessary to replace the accessory belts when changing the crank pulley as long as you can remove the AC belt without cutting it.
