Improve the engine response in your vehicle with the Grimmspeed Lightweight Crank Pulley. This particular crank pulley has been carefully engineered and will decrease the rotational mass by more than 3.5lbs when compared to the OEM crank pulley. This improves throttle response and faster revs. It has the optimum weight to avoid any check engine lights or misfires. This is a direct replacement of your OEM crank pulley and will have a factory fit for a clean install.
This particular crank pulley has been CNC machined from 6061 T6 Aluminum, and has been balanced and will come with OEM timing marks for timing verification. Additionally, it comes with a perfect cut keyway to make it a straightforward installation.
Note that this particular crank pulley will come in an anodized blue finish to add a cleaner look to your engine bay.

I used this to replace an aftermarket smaller pulley during a 2.5 swap into my 02 bugeye. Was easy to install, looks good and since it’s lighter than stock so it helps the engine to rev just a bit quicker. Rallysportdirect is great to work with!
Full disclosure, I have this coupled with an ACT lightweight flywheel on my NA 2.5RS, which is a bit controversial. But without the turbo, the quick revs really make this car a blast to drive. Downshifts are a dream. Install was simple with the grimmspeed crank removal tool. It looks amazing.
Lots of people talk about how much power is gained by pulleys - they're kind of wrong; power is not gained by this part, per se, but it makes it so that LESS power is lost. By decreasing the rotational load on the crank, this pulley frees up some power that would be gone otherwise. Also, it is blue and pretty. Why are you still reading this? Get it, already. Geez.
Another awesome product from GrimmSpeed. Installed on 2004 WRX. Removed both belts (duh) and the drivers side radiator fan to facilitate replacement. Easy peasy. Fortunately the old one came off with a few taps from a ball peen. Factory unit was disbonding. Would have bought black, but was backordered.
Definetly worth it! Good quality for the buck! Install was a breeze except that the oem pulley was stuck and hard to wrestle with. But other than that great quality.

A: The tools required for installation are not included with this part, it is just the crank pulley. GrimmSpeed does make a crank pulley removal/install tool which is part # 095011

A: It is not recommended that you install a lightweight flywheel with a lightweight crank pulley. Doing so will result in the car throwing a constant CEL for the crank position sensor.
